This folks with light touch of world music genre band performing at 5.10pm. When the first song played, the sound still not good enough, so its come up with “check sound” feeling. Abah Donny the guitarist even ask the audience, “is this sound good enough? Is the guitar sound fine? Can you hear the bass?”

But after the second song, “Buat Gadis Rasyid” the sound was getting better. The shades of grunge sound really thick on his vocal character and success made euforia in the audience and claps their hands. The next songs, bunga lumpur, hey kid, and free was getting better, even though they still complained about the sound system.

“oh yes, i barely couldn’t hear cubek’s guitar play. The monitor was bad. But it was still fun though. We just practice for this performance few days ago. Hmm, two days ago if i’m right. The boys (deu galih and folks member) was busy. For the first time i’m not planning on coming and play on this show, but then i thought ‘hell, i cant stay at home while the boys play..’ and we were planning to sing the new song. Our next project, but we can’t. the violinist is in Jakarta, and without him, the song’s feels I not that good” said, Abah Donny to audience.

At the 4th songs, there was an accident. Yadi Cubek, the guitarist accidently drop the irish tin whistle, and it was slip into hole in the side line of sound monitor. Abah donny explain, “Ah, yes. Yadi. The Irish tin whistle is not cost much. But i cant find it in indonesia. We have to buy it abroad. In London for example.”

“Yeah, i drop it because of you” Yadi cubek said friendly in the middle of his laugh. Abah Donny said that they have a dream to held a concert in the middle of jungle. “At Dago Pakar for example. Guess it would be so much fun. Just like our first mini concert in beat n bite. Wow, 20 songs. Can you imagine? But, let’s hope it will happen.”

Yes, let’s hope that can happen. In time.
