Started from the same feeling of college students when facing SNMPTN to past the test and join to the famous college back then BEM FISIP UI 2011 is planning up a role play of the SNMPTN test. This role play or try out is set up for highschool student, majoring in social or science. GRAFITY (Get Ready For FISIP UI Try Out), the main themes is : ‘Are You Ready To Shine?’ Mean chalenging those highschool’s student to shine on their own and pass the test And accept in one of famous college.

This try out have been started and become annual event since 5 year ago, and of course it stole lot of JABODETABEK (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tanggerang, Bekasi) high school’s students attention and animo. Base on GRAFITY’s succed previous year, we’re trying to do a break through. If previous years only be held on Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tanggerang and Bekasi, now in 2011 we’re also setting up the try out in Bandung in two senior high school in Bandung. Because we saw the anthusiasme of Bandung’s students.

GRAFITY 2011 will be held twice on 27th of November 2011 in Jakarta, Bogor, and Bekasi, and also took place at SMAN 68 Jakarta, SMAN 6 Jakarta, dan SMAN 70 Jakarta. For bekasi region will be held at SMAN 2 Bekasi, and also Bogor at SMAN 1 Bogor. Second session, will be held 4 Desember 2011 for Bandung region, at SMAN 3 and SMAN 5 Bandung.

GRAFITY 2011 ini is different from another try out or role playing on previous time and other, because it has more benefit. And pay only RP 25.OOO,- for Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, for Bandung region Rp30.000,-. The partisipant willl get more benefits. Start from the try out took place in some big and famous school in town in Jakarta and Jawa Barat Province. So the partisipant will not get so much trouble to get to the place that the try out is being held because its already being set up near from theory domain. Beside, its almost near the real condition of SNMPTN test.

The participant also will get the explanation of the test completely and the can bring the question’s test home, and there will be talk show session that will be discussing more info about UI, starts from the selection, majoring subject, payment and scholarship process. F2WL will back soon

A good news that we wanted share to you after we attended PreZoiz at SMA N 2 Bandung Jl. Cihampelas no. 73 Bandung on 22 October 2011. ZOIZ is the conversion of 2012 which means PreZoiz existed before 2012. We say it’s a good news because we are convinced F2WL in 2011 would not be much different from the previous F2WL.

Let’s we tell to you a little more about F2WL and operate last year, which is named Twice Upon A Time. From 2 With Love that is their real name, derived from the students of SMA N 2 Bandung want send their love to everyone utilize their event. F2WL has been presents since 1993 in the form of performing arts and Since 2002 this event has evolved into a merger performing arts and super bazaar. Talk about F2WL 2010, still fresh in our memory how an event that organized by students is a school can offer an event that is so great. Sabuga Bandung is the venue the F2WL 2010, they present many musicians, such as Sarasvati, Efek Rumah Kaca, Tompi, Netral and Gigi. F2WL 2010 not just an event, but it was super event or even a concert.

Back to PreZoiz, this is the second pre-event F2WL 2012. A fact that F2WL 2012 has been ready. PreZoiz has started since the 09:20 was opened by the master ofcere mony, and then presents many appearances such as Percussion 2, Rocacola, Jazz Corner, Bee Smile, Theatre (potty), ensemble, and Panarama. After break Dzuhur continued with the performance The Bobby Brothers, Dillinger, P.s.y.c.h, Fre(e) Motion, Summer Time, Off Her Drive and Rocket Steady, they are good performers. When we arrived at the location of this event have been met by audience who wait for their idol, Everlasting on the stage at the time. Followed by reggae music from Reregean, audiences hold dance softly to enjoy the afternoon in Bandung. Next, For Revenge came to stage, but their appearance was interrupted briefly by Ashar break and then resumed and success to make the audience sing along. Last Redemption, Molecular and Bill Fold insequence is the next performer.

Audiences fulfill the venue, one of the performers who anticipated would soon go on stage, Speaker 1st. Rock’n Roll Band who released their second album in 2010 consisted of Atir ( vocalshttp://bandungsearch.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1233&action=edit&message=1, bass), Bony (guitar, vocals), Berry (guitar, vocals), and Anton (drums). The album is titled “Muda dan Berani” Rock’n Roll music thick with a unique vocal style. But this album has not been well distributed Atir said when we met him after their performances. Still according to Atir delay distribution and promo of this album due to various technical and non technical factors, activity of personnel to be one cause. “But you don’t be afraid, we will still work because music is our passion and one thing to note speakers 1st remain and the more mature, although with the new formation” he added. They’re making a video clip “Muda dan Berani” which will soon be launched in November. Let’s back to PreZoiz, Spekaer 1st play some their singles like “Muda dan Berani”. Their performance closed with the song “Dunia Milik Kita” and successfully make audiences singing along.

The last performance of PreZoiz is Rosemary, they are a punk rock band, calling their music skatepunkers. Rosemary consist of Indra Gatot (vocals/guitar ), Firman Dyana/Ink Mary (guitar/vocals), Fajar Juliandra (bass), Denny Shu (drumm). Energy of their appearance are they fund to entertain audiences in PreZoiz. “WARS (We Are Skatepunkers)” designation for their fan base look very much being there and continue partying. We have seen how successful PreZoiz and how hot this event. We believe, F2WL 2012 on January can be successful like their preevent and not be smaller with another f2wl. From 2 With Love or better known as F2WL is an annual event from the students Sma N 2 Bandung. This event was first concept by Dewi Lestari and Candil (Ex. Seurius Band) in 1993. F2WL continue be held every year and now has become one of the biggest event in Bandung. Now they will come back and have begun to disseminate their events in next named F2WL ‘ZOIZ’ 2012. This is a preparatory event for the mature form. After succeed with two previous organizing , Djakarta Artmosphere back again for the third time. This year, the roar of organizing the two generations concert will take place on October 22, 2011. As always, this year, Djakarta Artmosphere will be return with the same theme: The clash of two generations of musicians who blended out in one stage performances.

Maybe you can still remember how Sore can buzz on with Ebiet g. Ade or successful performance by Karthika Jahja (TIKA), which at one stage with her childhood Idol, Vina Panduwinata two years ago. That also probably still fresh in memory, as later Utha Likumahuwa managed to make himself young and therefore deserve to play Leonardo and dancing kangaroo’s a bit-beat rockabilly. In the same year-ago- Indonesian King of rock, God bless managed to divide the energy with Navicula, alternative rock troops from Bali.

This year, more or less same memory will be come back again. As already written in the first line of this writing, this year’s Djakarta Artmosphere may be more violent. Noted, there are several names confirmed line-up can take part in this concert. The biggest performance of course, the emergence of Koes Plus is probably for the first time performing in front of a completely different market to what they have.

If during this, the younger generation can only hear a big name and their reputation in the past, then this year in Djakarta Artmosphere, charismatic and distinctive voice of Yon Koeswoyo will actually clearly represented on stage.

Talk about Indonesian music, Koes plus is definitely onhigh position in the caste of modern musical history of this Nation. Dozens of releases they produce more than 50 years of experience in the music industry should not be underestimated. What they have is a legend status that successful past age, geographic, and taste.

In Djakarta Artmosphere this year, Koes Plus will compete with reckless rock exhibitors from Jakarta, BRNDLS. The Group was able to quit his old zone and found a research approach to art that is incredibly wide through their latest album DGNR8. Imagine, close your eyes and then hope there is a empty space in Djakarta Artmosphere to watch their performance.

Other names also came in line this year Endah N Rhesa combination ‘ and Margie Segers. Both of them are widely known for their ability to charm the audience from stage barriers that they controlled. Pure Saturday, local indie-pop legends of Bandung, as well as plans to take part in Djakarta Artmosphere this year . Musikus avant garde that ever fill line of Kantata, God bless and Jockie Suryoprayogo will be their partner in this year. When the two legends together, that is definitely show virulence can be expected to appear, isn’t it?

The last name that will fill the stage in Djakarta Artmosphere is Keenan Nasution, who will combine with a new phenomenon called Sarasvati. Keenan was so admired by many people in the decade of 70-80s will share minutes and appears with the Sarasvati that seems to reinvent herself when she made it out with her debut album that seal her past. Will Keenan Nasution and Saraswati show us mystical music? Just wait and see.

According to the plan this year, Djakarta Artmosphere will be held at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. Location is super important in area of South Jakarta, is believed to be able to provide comfort for many people. The old adage says, “Location determine achievement.” Maybe this will apply to DJakarta Artmosphere 2011.

In some collaborations at the top, Djakarta Artmosphere this year’s also began to introducing a new line in this music show: Joyland. Joyland is an open side of the stage are presented outside the main show site. Music will be heard at this stage in the afternoon. Some interesting names already confirmed for the filling: White Shoes and the Couples Company, LukyAnnash, Sir Dandy, Dialog Dini Hari and The Experience Brothers.

As a fusion of art forms other than music, in this year the Djakarta Artmosphere collaboration again with Education Division Between Journalism Photo Gallery (GFJA) to recruit young talent who gives his or her opinion of Indonesian music in the form of Visual provocation. Selected participants will get a photographic material supplies and Indonesian musical insights for 2-day workshop, and they creation will be show with Djakarta Artmosphere music concerts.

In Bandung, we have a community of jazz that always moves to promote jazz. Klab Jazz are their names, Klab Jazz makes some event to promote jazz. Sunday jazz, an regular event of the week always organize routine twice a month. There are still many other events as well as support Klab Jazz. Example, they also support the Jatinangor Jazz Event 2 from Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University.

Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University is one of the oldest psychology department in Indonesia, besides constant advance of science, they also continue reatifitas their students by holding events, Jatinangor Jazz Event is one of them. The concept of this show wanted to show how the changes or the development of jazz music from the first emergence of jazz music to grow up with today’s modern era, which will be shown the guest star and Klab Jazz of course.

There are several guest star who will attend this event, Maliq & D’ essential is one of them. We believe there is no Indonesian jazz lovers, especially young, who do not know them. A groove that has had much experience, not just musicians they also a producer of several bands, Soulvibe is an example. In addition to Maliq & d’essential there are also some groups of Klab Jazz Tulus that has just launched new album some time ago, Stereotitude, Helfwhole Project. Jatinangor Jazz Event 2 also performance of some of the Winner Jazz Band Auditions and Band jazz from Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University. Surely it would be very exciting to know the history of music that we liked, jazz as well.

Association of German literature student Padjadjaran University (Himasad) will be organize a three big event. The event was combined in one series of events that called Himasad VolkFest 2011. This event takes the theme ‘acculturation culture Germany and Indonesia ‘. acculturation is a blend of different cultures that took place in peace and harmony. But the blend between two cultures that don’t remove the original elements of both these cultures.
